Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. This is used to identify your account.

Game data

ASL source code you submit, game configurations, game logs, and performance results are stored and associated with your account.

Usage data

Standard request logs (IP address, timestamps, user agent) are collected as part of normal service operation.

Support status

If you use asctl cover-compute, we store whether you have active recurring support. We do not store payment details, card numbers, or transaction amounts. All payment processing is handled by Stripe.

2. What we do not collect

  • No payment card details (handled entirely by Stripe)
  • No tracking cookies or third-party analytics beyond infrastructure providers
  • No personal data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising

3. How we use your data

  • Account data — to authenticate you and associate games with your account
  • Game data — to run your games, store results, and let you access your history
  • Usage data — to operate, monitor, and debug the service
  • Support status — to determine whether to display the per-run cost line

4. Where your data is stored

Cloudflare — account data, game history, and service infrastructure (Workers, D1).

Google Cloud Platform — game execution. Game compute is ephemeral and not persisted beyond the session.

Stripe — payment processing for voluntary support. Stripe's privacy policy governs data they collect.

5. Data retention

Account and game data are retained while your account is active. Request logs are rotated within 90 days. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems.

6. Your rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of your data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Cancel recurring support at any time

If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to object to processing. If you are in Canada, your rights under PIPEDA apply.

7. Children

This service is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email with 30 days notice.
